• APPEARANCE: The Sideline electric fireplace is designed for recessed in-wall mounting and creates a cozy atmosphere with realistic flames. It has 5 flame settings ranging from a soft ember glow to an intense blaze. The Sideline allows you to control the heat and flame with the remote control and can use either logs or crystals.
• INSTALLATION: The Sideline installs easily and can be safely attached to framing studs. The unit remains cool to the touch on the sides and back even with the heat feature on. It is recommended to leave at least 8 inches of space between the top of the fireplace and your TV, mantel, or ceiling. The Sideline can also be safely installed in existing fireplace openings, but it is important to consult a licensed professional to secure any unused gas lines and vents. It is a ventless fireplace.
• OPERATION: The Sideline's heater can warm up a cool room or basement and can be used with just the flames in warmer climates. It is designed for a standard 110-120V outlet and comes with a 6-foot power cord. It can also be hard-wired for in-wall installation. The unit draws a maximum of 12 amps, so it can be used on a 15-amp circuit. Depending on other electronics on the same circuit, a 20-amp circuit may be necessary.
• FEATURES: The Sideline features a realistic flame that gives a natural look behind the glass. It includes faux-fire logs and crystals to create an authentic feel. The flame color, intensity, heater, and shut-off timer can all be controlled with the included IR remote. The front facing heater vents allow for positioning the Sideline just 8 inches below a flat screen TV. It can be hardwired or plugged into an electric source.
